Learn Qur'an; Recite; Act Upon; Apply Knowledge

This hadith is about the importance of learning and reciting the Quran. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) compares those who learn and act upon the teachings of the Quran to a sack filled with musk that spreads its fragrance everywhere. He also compares those who learn but do not act upon it to a sack that is tied up from which no fragrance comes out. This hadith teaches us that we should not only learn but also put into practice what we have learned from the Quran in order for its teachings to benefit us and others around us. It also reminds us that if we do not take action on what we have learned then our knowledge will be useless.
