The Day of Resurrection and Seeing Allah

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, people will not be able to crowd one another in order to see Allah.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Do you crowd one another in order to see the moon on the night when it is full?' They said: 'No'. He said: 'And you will not crowd one another in order to see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection'."

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Day of Resurrection when all people will gather together and stand before their Lord. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) asked his companions if they would crowd one another in order to see the moon on a night when it is full. They said no because it is so big that everyone can see it without having to push each other out of the way. Then he said that on the Day of Resurrection, they would not have to do this either because everyone will be able to clearly see their Lord without having to push each other out of the way. This hadith teaches us that we should remember our ultimate goal which is meeting our Lord on Judgment day and strive for good deeds so we can reach this goal with ease and comfort.
