Have respect for those who are beloved by God such as Prophets and Imams; maintain strong relationships based on love; strive to have an intimate connection with God through prayer and worship; build friendships based on mutual understanding and trust.

This hadith speaks about the special relationship between Allah and His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is narrated that Abdullah bin Amr said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that Allah has taken him as a close friend, just like He took Ibrahim as a close friend. This means that their relationship is so strong and intimate, similar to two friends who are very close to each other. On the Day of Resurrection, their houses will be opposite each other with Abbas in between them. This shows us how much love and respect there is between these three people - Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , Abraham and Abbas - on this special day when all believers will be gathered together for judgement.
