EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about how Abdullah ibn Umar treated the palsy and a scorpion sting. He used two methods of treatment - cauterization and a talisman. Cauterization is when heat is applied to an area of skin in order to stop bleeding or infection. A talisman is an object that has been blessed with special powers or charms in order to protect against evil spirits or bad luck. By using these two methods of treatment, Abdullah ibn Umar was able to successfully treat the palsy and the scorpion sting. This hadith teaches us that we should always look for different ways of treating illnesses or injuries as there may be more than one way of doing so successfully.
