Be modest with your clothing choices; Give away gifts generously; Avoid wearing anything too luxurious or extravagant; Pleasing Allah SWT through your actions; Earning rewards for good deeds done here on earth for life after death .

This hadith is about the importance of modesty in clothing. It was narrated by Yahya from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that Umar ibn al-Khattab saw a silk robe at the door of the mosque and asked if the Prophet Muhammad PBUH would buy it to wear on Jumu'ah and when envoys come to him. The Prophet PBUH replied that only those who have no portion in the next world wear such luxurious clothing. He was then given some robes made out of similar material and gave one to Umar ibn al-Khattab but told him not to wear it himself but rather give it away as a gift to someone else. This hadith teaches us that we should be modest with our clothing choices and avoid wearing anything too luxurious or extravagant as this is not something that pleases Allah SWT or earns us any reward in the hereafter. We should also be generous with our wealth by giving away gifts to others who may need them more than we do ourselves.
