Good Deeds Rewarded

SUMMARY: The good deeds of a person will be rewarded by Allah and will be known to others.

Yahya related to me from Malik from his paternal uncle, Abu Suhayl ibn Malik from his father that Kab al-Ahbar said, "If you want to know what a slave has with his Lord, then look at whatever good praise follows him".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of doing good deeds and how it is rewarded by Allah. It is narrated that Kab al-Ahbar said that if one wants to know what a slave has with their Lord then look at whatever good praise follows them. This means that the good deeds done by a person will be known to others and they will receive reward for it from Allah in the hereafter. Doing righteous acts not only brings benefit in this world but also in the hereafter as well. Therefore, it is important for us to strive towards doing righteous acts so we can receive reward from our Creator and have an honorable place in Jannah inshaAllah!
