EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the power of Allah in guiding people to do good and leading them away from evil. It is narrated by Malik from Ziyad ibn Sad that Amr ibn Dinar heard Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr say in a khutba that “Allah - He is the Guider and the One Who Tempts Away”. This means that it is only through His will that people are guided to do good or led astray to do bad. We should always remember this when we are faced with difficult decisions as it reminds us of our ultimate dependence on Him for guidance.
