During Prophet Muhammad's lifetime, four people from the Ansar tribe were chosen to collect and compile all of the verses of the Quran into one book. These four people were Ubai bin Ka’b, Mu’adh bin Jabal, Abu Zaid and Zaid bin Thabit. They worked together to make sure that all verses were collected accurately and without any errors or omissions. This compilation was done with great care so that future generations could have access to this holy book for guidance in their lives. The Quran is a source of knowledge for Muslims around the world as it contains teachings about faith in Allah SWT as well as instructions on how to live a good life according to Islamic principles.
