QUICK LESSONS:
Learn Quran recitation from reliable sources .

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith narrated by Abdullah bin Amr, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised to learn the recitation of Quran from four specific people. These people were Ibn Mas’ud who was a companion and close friend of the Prophet ﷺ; Salim who was a freed slave of Abu Hudhaifa; Ubai and Mu’adh bin Jabal. This hadith is an important reminder for us to take our religious education seriously and seek knowledge from reliable sources. It also teaches us that we should not be shy or embarrassed about learning something new or asking questions in order to gain knowledge. Furthermore it encourages us to be humble when seeking knowledge as even great scholars such as these four companions were humble enough to teach others what they knew.
