The Prophet's Love for the People of Ansar

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) showed his love and appreciation for the people of Ansar when he saw them returning from a wedding party.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet saw the women and children (of the Ansar) coming forward. (The sub-narrator said, "I think that Anas said, 'They were returning from a wedding party") The Prophet stood up and said thrice, "By Allah! You are from the most beloved people to me".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ النِّسَاءَ وَالصِّبْيَانَ مُقْبِلِينَ ـ قَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مِنْ عُرُسٍ ـ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ مُمْثِلاً، فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتُمْ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَىَّ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَهَا ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ‏.‏

This hadith is about the love and appreciation that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had for the people of Ansar. When he saw them coming back from a wedding party, he stood up and said three times "By Allah!
