Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was seen wiping the face of his horse with his cloak. He was questioned about it and said, "I was reproached in the night about horses". ie not taking care of them.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of caring for animals, particularly horses. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was seen wiping the face of his horse with his cloak and when asked about it, he said that he was reproached in the night for not taking care of horses. This shows us how important it is to take care of animals and treat them kindly. We should make sure to provide them with food, water, shelter and medical attention if needed. We should also be gentle with them and show compassion towards them as they are living creatures just like us. It is also important to remember that Allah has given us dominion over animals so we must use this power responsibly by treating them well and showing mercy towards them.
