QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to be mindful of religious obligations even when travelling or away from home
EXPLANATIONS:
Abdullah ibn Umar was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who used to combine his prayers of maghrib and isha when he was in the area of Muzdalifa. This is an example of how Muslims should strive to be mindful of their religious obligations even when they are travelling or away from home. It is important for Muslims to remember that Allah ï·» has given us a set number of prayers each day that must be performed in order for us to stay connected with Him. Combining two prayers into one can help make it easier for those who are travelling or away from home, as long as certain conditions are met such as having enough time between the two prayers and being able to perform them both with concentration.
