Praying with Nose Bleeding

SUMMARY: Abdullah ibn Umar would leave and do wudu if he had a nose-bleed and then return and complete his prayer without saying anything.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar would leave and do wudu if he had a nose-bleed and then return and complete his prayer without saying anything.

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform Wudhu before every prayer
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer in Islam. It teaches us that even if we have a nose bleed during our prayer, we should not stop praying but instead perform wudhu and continue our prayer. This shows us how important it is to pray regularly no matter what happens. We should also remember that Allah will reward us for our efforts in completing the prayers even when faced with difficulties or distractions. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said “Whoever performs ablution properly, his sins will come out from his body, even coming out from under his nails” [Sahih al-Bukhari]. This hadith reminds us of the importance of performing wudhu before every prayer as it helps cleanse ourselves spiritually as well as physically.
