Praying Asr and Arriving at Quba Before Sunset

SUMMARY: Anas ibn Malik said that they would pray asr and anyone who went to Quba afterwards would arrive while the sun was still high.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Anas ibn Malik said, "We would pray asr and anyone who then went to Quba would arrive there while the sun was still high".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer in Islam. It is narrated by Anas ibn Malik that they used to pray asr and anyone who went to Quba afterwards would arrive there while the sun was still high. This shows how important it is for Muslims to be punctual when it comes to prayer times. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us that we should not delay our prayers beyond their prescribed times. We should strive to make sure we are on time for our prayers so that we can reap its rewards and blessings in this life and the hereafter.

This hadith also teaches us about being mindful of time management in general; if one wants to reach a certain destination before sunset, then they must plan accordingly so as not be late or miss out on any opportunities due to lack of planning or procrastination.
