Be content with what you have; Do not ask people for things when you can provide them yourself; Strive hard in order to make a living without relying on others; Be patient and thankful in this life; Show gratitude towards Allah's blessings upon you.

The hadith speaks about the importance of being content with what one has and not asking for more than necessary. It was narrated by 'Ali that the Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever asks people to give him when he is independent of means is asking for more red hot stones of Hell." When asked what it meant to be independent of means, he replied that it meant having sufficient food for dinner. This hadith teaches us that we should be grateful and content with whatever we have and not ask people to give us things when we are already able to provide them ourselves. We should also remember that Allah will reward those who are patient and thankful in this life, as well as those who strive hard in order to make a living without relying on others.
