QUICK LESSONS:
Follow the sunnah of praying two rak’ah after every other type of prayer.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of following the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad in our daily lives. It is narrated that 'Ali ibn Abi Talib said that the Messenger of Allah did not offer any prayer after which nafl prayer may be offered, but he prayed two rak'ahs after it. This means that no matter what kind of prayer was offered before, whether it was obligatory or voluntary, the Prophet would always follow it up with two rak'ahs as a way to show his devotion and dedication to Allah. This teaches us that we should strive to emulate this example and make sure we are offering our prayers with sincerity and dedication. We should also remember that even if we are only offering voluntary prayers, they still have great value in Islam and can help us draw closer to Allah.
