Fear Allah ; Uphold Kinship ; Respect Family Members ; Obey God's Commands ; Do What Is Right ; Treat Family Members With Kindness ; Help When Needed ; Forgive When Wronged .

This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad advises us to fear Allah and uphold our ties of kinship in order to be blessed with a longer life, increased provision, and a good death. Fearing Allah means that we should obey His commands by avoiding sins and doing what is right. Upholding our ties of kinship means that we should treat our family members with kindness, respect them, help them when they need it, forgive them when they wrong us, etc. By following these two pieces of advice from the Prophet Muhammad we can be sure that we will receive blessings from God such as an extended lifespan filled with prosperity as well as a peaceful death.
