Forbidden Items According to the Prophet

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ forbade 'Ali from using certain items such as red saddle cloths, garments made from a blend of linen and silk, and gold rings.

It was narrated from 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Prophet forbade, or forbade me 'Ali, red saddle cloths, garments made from a blend of linen and silk, and gold rings.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي عَنْ الْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْقَسِّيِّ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ‏.‏

This hadith is about the Prophet's teachings on what items should not be used.
