This hadith explains how important it is to wash one's feet during wudu. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abd Khair that his father said he saw Ali do wudu and he washed the tops of his feet. He then said if he hadn't seen Prophet Muhammad washing them too, he would have thought that washing only the bottom part was enough.
