EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the use of war as a form of deceit. It was narrated by 'Ali that Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, called war deceit on the lips of His Prophet. Zahmawaih said in his hadeeth that this was on the lips of your Prophet. This means that war should only be used when it is absolutely necessary and not for any other purpose. It teaches us to think carefully before engaging in any kind of conflict or battle, as it can have serious consequences for all involved parties. We must also remember to always seek peace first before resorting to violence or warfare.
