Number of Takbeers in Eid Prayer

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the number of takbeers said by Uthman during Eid prayer.

It was narrated from Ibraheem bin 'Abdullah - ie Ibn Farrookh - that his father said: I offered the Eid prayer behind 'Uthman (رضي الله عنه) and he said the takbeer seven times and five times (ie, in the first and second rak’ahs, respectively).
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ مُحْرِزٍ، بَيَّاعُ الْقَوَارِيرِ كُوفِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ كَذَا قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ فَرُّوخَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ الْعِيدَ فَكَبَّرَ سَبْعًا وَخَمْسًا‏.‏

This hadith is about the number of takbeers said by Uthman during the Eid prayer.
