Respect for animals, Use power responsibly

In this hadith, Al Hasan narrates that he saw Uthman delivering a sermon in which he encouraged people to kill dogs and slaughter pigeons. This hadith is an example of how animals were treated during the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is important to note that this was not a general commandment for all Muslims but rather an instruction for those living in Medina at the time. The purpose behind this instruction was likely to protect people from diseases or other harm caused by these animals.
