Follow teachings set by prophet muhammad PBUH without making any changes or additions ; Adhere strictly to religious laws ; Respect for religious texts ; Avoid making assumptions about religious laws ; Respect for authority figures such as prophets and leaders etc..

This hadith is about how important it is to follow the teachings and practices that were set by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In this hadith, Umar bin al Khattab was addressing a crowd and he mentioned that some people were questioning why stoning was practiced when flogging was mentioned in the Book of Allah. He then went on to explain that even though flogging was mentioned in the Book of Allah, they still followed what Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did which was stoning adulterers. He also said that if it weren't for people thinking he added something to the Book of Allah which wasn't part of it then he would have written down what was revealed as such. This hadith teaches us how important it is to follow what Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us and not add anything extra or take away from his teachings as we should be following them exactly as they are without any changes or additions made by ourselves.
