EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the experience of the Prophet Muhammad when he was feeling the pain of hunger and could not find enough food to fill his stomach. It is narrated by ?Umar ibn al Khattab that he saw the Messenger of Allah feeling this pain and not being able to find enough inferior quality dates. This hadith teaches us that even though Prophet Muhammad was a messenger from God, he still experienced hunger like any other human being. It also teaches us that we should be grateful for what we have and be content with it no matter how little it may seem. We should also remember those who are less fortunate than us and help them in whatever way we can so they can have access to basic necessities such as food.
