Believe in Allah and the Last Day; Do not sit at tables where alcohol is being passed around; Men must wear an Izaar when entering public places like baths; Women must abstain from entering public places like baths altogether

This hadith is about abstaining from activities involving alcohol and bathhouses. It was narrated by Al-Qasim bin Abil-Qasim as-Saba'i who heard it from a preacher addressing the troops in al-Qustanteeniyyah. The preacher reported that Umar bin al Khattab said that the Prophet Muhammad ? said that whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not sit at a table where alcohol is being passed around, nor enter a bathhouse unless wearing an Izaar or waist wrapper. Women are also advised to abstain from entering bathhouses altogether. This hadith teaches us to stay away from activities involving alcohol and to be modest when visiting public places such as baths or hammams. It also reminds us of our responsibility towards our faith by avoiding any activity which may lead us astray or cause harm to ourselves or others.
