QUICK LESSONS:
Name yourself after the prophet ﷺ , Take inspiration from Him , Follow His teachings & example .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Jabir states that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised people to name themselves after him, but not to call themselves by his Kuniya. A kunya is a nickname or title of respect used in place of a person's given name. It is usually composed of Abu or Umm followed by the firstborn son's name, such as Abu Bakr and Umm Muhammad. Therefore, this hadith advises us not to use the title of respect for ourselves as it should be reserved for the prophet ﷺ only. This hadith also teaches us that we should take inspiration from our beloved prophet ﷺ and try our best to follow in his footsteps and emulate his character traits in our lives. We can do this through learning about him and trying our best to live according to what he taught us through his teachings and example.
