QUICK LESSONS:
Perform ghusl before attending Jumu'ah prayer

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, highlights the importance of cleanliness and preparation for the Friday prayer. It tells us that we should perform ghusl before attending the Jumu’ah prayer as it was recommended by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Ghusl is a ritual bath which involves washing one's entire body with water and is an important part of Islamic hygiene. It is also a symbol of spiritual purification and renewal which helps to prepare us for worshiping Allah SWT in a state of purity and cleanliness. Therefore, this hadith encourages Muslims to take extra care in preparing themselves for their weekly congregational prayers on Fridays so that they can be spiritually cleansed and ready to receive Allah’s blessings through their prayers.
