This hadith emphasizes on seeking forgiveness from Allah, wishing for well being in life, and having certainty in faith both here on earth as well as hereafter. It was narrated by Rifa'ah bin Rafi', who heard Abu Bakr as Siddeeq say it on the minbar or pulpit of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. When Abu Bakr remembered Prophet Muhammad ﷺ he wept but then recovered to recite what he heard from him ﷺ which was to ask Allah for forgiveness, well being and certainty in faith both here on earth as well as hereafter. This hadith teaches us that we should always seek guidance from our Creator by asking Him for help with our worldly matters such as health, wealth etc., but also to have a strong belief that He will take care us even after death when we enter into eternity. We should also remember that no matter how difficult life may seem at times, if we turn to Him with sincerity He will always be there to help us through it all.
