Follow instructions given by Allah SWT ; Preserve religious texts for future generations ; Respect those who are knowledgeable about religious matters ; Be accurate when writing religious texts .

This hadith explains how the holy book of Islam, the Qur’an was written down and compiled into a book in several copies. The Prophet Muhammad asked Uthman to call Zaid bin Thabit, Abdullah bin Az-Zubair, Sa’id bin Al-'As and AbdurRahman bin Al-Harith bin Hisham to write down the manuscripts of the Holy Quran in form of a book. Uthman then asked three Quraishi persons to write it in their language as it was revealed in their language. They complied with his request and wrote it accordingly. This hadith shows us that Muslims should be careful when writing or compiling something related to religion as they should make sure that they are doing it correctly according to what is revealed by Allah SWT.
