This hadith teaches us that it is wrong for us to verbally abuse or fight another Muslim. Verbally abusing someone means saying hurtful words, while fighting someone means physically attacking them. Both of these actions are considered disobedience and ungratefulness towards Allah, which are both bad things that we should avoid doing.
