The Characteristics of a Believer & Muhajir

SUMMARY: The believer is the one who protects the wealth and lives of people, and the Muhajir is the one who abandons mistakes and sins.

Fadalah bin 'Ubaid narrated that the Prophet said: "The believer is the one from whom their (people’s) wealth and lives are safe, and the Muhajir is the one who forsakes mistakes and sins".
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيِّ، أَنَّ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَنْ أَمِنَهُ النَّاسُ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ الْخَطَايَا وَالذُّنُوبَ
