Accepting Islam as one's faith; protecting life & property; submitting & obeying Allah's commands .

The hadith narrated by Jabir states that the Prophet Muhammad was commanded to fight people until they accept the Islamic faith. This means that Muslims are allowed to use force in order to protect their religion and spread it. However, if a person does accept Islam then their lives and wealth will be protected from any harm or damage. Furthermore, it is important to note that even though a person's life and wealth may be safe from harm, there is still a right due from them which must be fulfilled according to Islamic law. Lastly, it is also stated that all judgement of these matters will ultimately come down to Allah alone on the Day of Judgement.
