Patience in Supplication

SUMMARY: It is important to not become impatient when supplicating to Allah, as He will answer in His own time.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that : the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said: "It is necessary that you do not become hasty". It was said: "What does being hasty mean, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "When one says: 'I supplicated to Allah but Allah did not answer me'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Remain patient while making a supplication
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of patience when supplicating to Allah. We should not become hasty and think that our prayers are going unanswered if we do not receive an immediate response. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ explained that being hasty means saying “I supplicated to Allah but He did not answer me”. We must remember that Allah answers all prayers in His own time and it is important for us to remain patient and trust in Him.
