The Treasures of Paradise

SUMMARY: The Prophet (SAWS) taught Abdullah bin Qais a phrase which is one of the treasures of Paradise.

It was narrated that Abu Musa said: "The Prophet (SAWS) heard me saying: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (there is no power and no strength except with Allah)'. He said: 'O 'Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I not tell you of a word which is one of the treasures of Paradise?' I said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah'. He said: 'Say: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power and no strength except with Allah)'."

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should always remember to rely on Allah for all our needs and difficulties. It was narrated by Abu Musa that the Prophet (SAWS) heard him saying “La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah” which means “There is no power and no strength except with Allah”. The Prophet then told him that this phrase was one of the treasures of Paradise, meaning it will bring great reward in the hereafter if said sincerely. This hadith encourages us to always remember to turn to Allah in times of difficulty or hardship as He alone can provide us with help and strength when we are weak or powerless.
