The Power of Subhan-Allah Wa Bi Hamdihi

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us two words that are light on the tongue and heavy in the Balance, and beloved to Allah.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that : the Messenger of Allah said: 'Two words which are light on the tongue and heavy in the Balance, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subhan-Allah wa bi hamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-'Azim (Glory and praise is to Allah, glory is to Allah the Almighty)".

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us two words that are light on the tongue but heavy in the Balance, and beloved to Allah. These two words are “Subhan-Allah wa bi hamdihi” which means “Glory and praise is to Allah”, followed by “Subhan-Allahil-'Azim” which means “Glory is to Allah the Almighty”. This hadith teaches us about how powerful these two phrases can be when we say them with sincerity and faith. It also reminds us of how important it is for us to remember God's greatness at all times, as this will bring blessings into our lives from Him. Furthermore, it encourages us to express our gratitude towards Him for all His blessings upon us by praising Him often with these phrases or similar ones such as Alhamdulillah or Astaghfirullah etc.
