Sunan Ibn Majah 3727 (Book 33, Hadith 71) #33081
Seeking Refuge From Wind's Evil

SUMMARY: The hadith is about not cursing the wind, as it is from Allah's mercy and can bring either Rahmah or destruction. We should ask Allah for its goodness and seek refuge with Him from its evil.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Do not curse the wind, for it is from the mercy of Allah, bringing Rahmah (ie, rain and breezes), or destruction. But ask Allah for its goodness, and seek refuge with Allah from its evil".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do not curse the wind; Ask for its goodness; Seek refuge with God from its evil .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should not curse the wind, as it is a part of Allah's mercy. The wind can bring both Rahmah and destruction, so we should ask Allah for its goodness and seek refuge with Him from its evil. We must remember that everything comes from Allah, so even if something seems bad to us, it may be a blessing in disguise. Therefore, instead of cursing the wind or any other natural phenomenon, we should turn to Allah in prayer and supplication for His guidance and protection.
