Accepting gifts with grace and humility

This hadith tells us about the Prophet's humility and generosity in accepting gifts from others. It is narrated that an-Najashi sent a pair of pure black Khuffs as a gift to the Prophet which he wore. The act of wearing this gift shows us how humble and generous the Prophet was in accepting gifts from others. He did not reject it or show any sign of arrogance but instead accepted it with grace and humility. This teaches us to be humble when receiving gifts from others no matter what they are or who they come from as it is an act of kindness that should be appreciated with gratitude and respect.
