Marking Sheep and Wearing a Cloak

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad was seen marking sheep on their ears and wearing a cloak around his wrist.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah marking sheep on their ears, and I saw him wearing a cloak around his wrist".
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ يَسِمُ غَنَمًا فِي آذَانِهَا وَرَأَيْتُهُ مُتَّزِرًا بِكِسَاءٍ
