EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about healing through natural means. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet said that healing can be found in three things - a drink of honey, the glass of the cupper and cauterizing with fire. However, he forbade his nation from using cauterization as a form of healing. Honey has been used for centuries to treat various ailments due to its antibacterial properties while cupping is an ancient practice which involves placing heated cups on certain parts of the body to create suction which helps improve blood circulation and reduce pain. Cauterizing with fire is a medical procedure used to burn or destroy tissue in order to stop bleeding or remove growths such as warts or skin tags. The Prophet's advice here was not only wise but also compassionate as it showed his concern for people's wellbeing by discouraging them from using dangerous methods like cauterizing with fire which could cause more harm than good if done incorrectly.
