When one of the companions asked for more, the Prophet allowed him to have another spoonful. This hadith teaches us that we should be generous with what we have been blessed with and not be stingy or selfish when sharing our blessings with others. It also teaches us that it is okay to ask for more if we need it as long as we are polite in our request. We should also remember that Allah will always provide us with what we need if we are patient and trust in Him.
