Prohibiting Drinking from Certain Containers

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade drinking from certain containers.

It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri said: "The Messenger of Allah forbade drinking from Hantam, Dubba’ and Naqir.
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْحَنْتَمِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ
