EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the values of generosity and kindness among family members. It was narrated that Abu Baqqal heard Anas bin Malik say that the wives of Prophet Muhammad used to give each other gifts on trays. These gifts were usually locusts which were a delicacy in Arabia at that time. This hadith shows us how important it is for family members to be generous and kind towards one another. It also teaches us about being mindful and thoughtful when giving gifts as it was done with trays which would have been a nice gesture in itself.
