Be mindful of your actions; Take into consideration any religious obligations or restrictions before taking action; Respect all living creatures as much as possible.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that there are five animals which it is permissible to kill when a person is in the state of Ihram. These animals are the scorpion, crow, kite, mouse and vicious dog. It is important to note that this permission only applies when a person is in the state of Ihram and not otherwise. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our actions and take into consideration any religious obligations or restrictions before taking action. We should also be aware of our environment and respect all living creatures as much as possible.
