QUICK LESSONS:
Apply perfume during religious rituals while adhering to Islamic teachings.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates that 'Aishah applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for his Ihram when he entered and exited it. The ritual of entering and exiting Ihram is an important part of Hajj, which is one of the five pillars of Islam. It involves wearing two pieces of white cloth, abstaining from certain activities such as cutting hair or nails, and refraining from sexual intercourse. Applying perfume during this time was a practice done by Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). This shows us that even during religious rituals, we can still use perfumes to make ourselves feel good while still adhering to Islamic teachings. It also teaches us that we should be mindful in our actions and not forget about our spiritual obligations even in times where we are allowed to enjoy ourselves.
