The Value of Serving Allah

SUMMARY: Doing something for the sake of Allah is more valuable than anything else in the world.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ غَدْوَةٌ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, speaks to the value of serving Allah. It teaches us that doing something for the sake of Allah is more valuable than anything else in this world. Whether it be going out in the morning or evening, if it is done with a sincere intention and for His cause, then it will be rewarded greatly. This hadith encourages us to prioritize our service to Allah over worldly pursuits and material possessions as they are fleeting and temporary while our deeds towards Him are everlasting and rewarding.
