EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a reminder from the Messenger of Allah to avoid legal punishments whenever possible. It is important for us to remember that we should always strive to obey the laws and regulations set by our government, but if there are any ways in which we can avoid punishment, then it is best for us to do so. This hadith encourages us to be mindful of our actions and think twice before doing something that could lead us into trouble with the law. We should also remember that even if we do get punished, it does not mean that we have done something wrong; rather, it means that we have made a mistake and must learn from it in order to become better people.

The Prophet Muhammad was known for his mercy and compassion towards others, so this hadith serves as an example of how he wanted his followers to act in similar situations. He wanted them to show mercy towards those who may have broken the law or committed a crime, while still upholding justice at all times. By avoiding legal punishments whenever possible, Muslims are able show their respect for the law while still being merciful towards others who may have made mistakes or done wrongs against them or society at large.
