Rights of Neighbors

SUMMARY: The neighbor has the right to pre-emption of his neighbor, and should wait for him even if he is absent.

It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah said: "The neighbor has more right to pre-emption of his neighbor, so let him wait for him even if he is absent, if they share a path".

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect your neighbours , Give priority to your neighbours .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the rights of neighbors in Islam. It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah said that a neighbor has more right to pre-emption than anyone else. This means that if two people are interested in buying something, then the person who lives closest to it should be given priority over others. Furthermore, even if this person is not present at the time when someone else wants to buy it, they should still wait for them before making any decisions. This shows us how important it is to respect our neighbors and their rights in Islam. We must always remember that we are all part of a community and must look out for each other's best interests.
