EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teaches us that when we take on a debt, our soul is attached to it until it is paid off. This means that we should take our debts seriously and make sure to pay them back as soon as possible. It also shows us the importance of being responsible with money and not taking on more than we can handle. We should be mindful of how much debt we are taking on and make sure that we can pay it back in a timely manner so that our souls are not burdened by it for too long.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us about the importance of honesty and integrity when dealing with money matters. He said “Whoever pays his debts in full will enter Paradise” which shows us how important paying off our debts truly is in Islam. We must strive to be honest and responsible with all financial matters so that our souls remain free from any burden or attachment due to unpaid debts.
