Follow orders from religious leaders

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's order for someone named Um Sharik to kill salamanders. In Islam it is believed that the prophet was sent by God as a messenger and guide for all of humanity. Therefore his orders are seen as divinely inspired and should be followed. In this case he ordered Um Sharik to kill salamanders which could have been due to a number of reasons such as protecting people from harm or preventing them from spreading disease. Whatever the reason may be it is important for Muslims to follow his orders in order to stay on the right path and live according to Islamic teachings.
