QUICK LESSONS:
Uphold fairness and justice when conducting business transactions .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of two types of transactions by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The first type is called Muhaqalah and the second type is called Muzabanah. These are both forms of trading that involve a delay in payment or delivery which can lead to unfairness and exploitation. Therefore, it was forbidden by the Prophet ﷺ in order to protect people from being taken advantage of in their business dealings. This hadith teaches us that fairness and justice should be upheld even when conducting business transactions, as this will ensure that everyone involved gets a fair deal.
